ORDERING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Ordering Guidelines:
- All orders must be placed via the website or the provided forms
- Orders will not be accepted through email or social media.
- During holidays, a limited menu may be provided. That time frame will only allow products on that menu to be ordered during that time.
Payment Guidelines:
- Website orders that choose the payment method of ELECTRONIC PAYMENT will be utilizing cash app/venmo/zelle.
- Dipped strawberry invoices will use the payment method of ELECTRONIC PAYMENT (cash app/venmo/zelle). The full balance of your order MUST be paid two (2) days prior to the requested date of order or order will be cancelled.
- Luxury Cupcake Box invoices will use the payment method of ELECTRONIC PAYMENT (cash app/venmo/zelle). Deposit is required and the remaining balance of your order MUST be paid three (3) days prior to the requested date of order or order will be cancelled.
- After your payment is placed, there will be no refunds given. If an error has occurred on behalf of Runaway Sweet Treats, a credit may be rendered and applicable to your next order and is non-transferable.
Custom Cake Order Guidelines:
- Orders require a 50% deposit to secure your date which is based on availability. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before your event date.
- Once a quote is given and the invoice is sent, the deposit is due within 24 hours (cash app/venmo/zelle). If deposit has not been received within those 24 hours, the invoice and the order will be cancelled.
- A second invoice will be sent two (2) weeks before your event date. The remaining balance will be due 24 hours after invoice is sent. If payment has not been received within those 24 hours, the order will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. Deposit may be credited for another day if available and approved.
- If order is placed two (2) weeks or sooner, total balance of order is due 24 hours after invoice is sent. If payment has not been received within those 24 hours, the order will be cancelled.
Pickup/Delivery Guidelines:
- If you request to have your cake picked up by yourself or someone else, Runaway Sweet Treats is not liable for any loss or damages to your order. Please drive safely and reframe from sudden stops. It is not recommended the cakes be held.
- Once the cake/desserts are in your possession, you immediately assume all liability and responsibility of the condition of the product(s).
- At the time of pickup/delivery, cakes/cupcakes/desserts come directly from refrigeration to destination. Please allow approximately 2 hours for cake to come to room temperature if desired.
- Cakes must be transported on a flat surface. It is recommended that cake box is placed on the floor of vehicle or on the seat with seatbelt for added security. If your vehicle does not have leveled seats, please bring a large towel to level surface.
- Cakes of 3+ tiers require delivery.
- There will be a 30 minute grace period after the scheduled pickup time. Time after the 30 minute grace period will accrue a late fee of 30% of your total order in addition to your order. Any time after an hour of scheduled pickup time will result in order being cancelled and payment will not be refunded.

If you have requested your order to be picked up, you have up until 48 hours of your requested pickup day and time to decide that you need your order delivered; the standard delivery fee will be charged electronically and must be paid before delivery. Once within 48 hours of your requested pick up, if you need your order delivered, there will be a $5 change fee in addition to the standard delivery fee. It will be charged electronically and must be paid before delivery.

- Desserts may contain milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. By ordering, you agree to notify all consumers of this risk and hold Runaway Sweet Treats harmless for allergic reactions.
